India is a cosmopolitan country with more than 30 plus cultures and religion. Every state has its own unique culture. India's population shows unity in diversity as its an amalgamation of the people belonging to different religions.

Cricket is considered as a second religion for every Indian and the cricketers are worshipped as God. Mr. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is considered 'The God of Cricket'.Similarly, Saurav Ganguly is called 'Dada' by his fans and teammates and there are many more such examples.
Cricket the national sports of England was popularized in India during the British rule. And today India almost dominate all the format of the game. In almost 87 years of cricket, India has very convincingly won two ICC World Cup Title, one in 1983 under Mr. Kapil Dev and the second in the leadership in MS Dhoni.
